Organizer safeguard: A listed LIHTC date or status is an early-warning indicator. A building can have later HPD/HCR agreements, Section 8, resyndication, tax benefits, rent regulation or other protections. Use this tool to decide where to investigate — not to tell tenants that their legal protections definitely end on a listed date.
